## What InkFirst Does

InkFirst is for people who want to stop reflexive scrolling without turning self-control into another chore. The app creates a short writing pause before selected apps open. After writing, the user can continue to the app they intended to open.

The writing is not just a gate. InkFirst organizes reflections into a Life Book: chapters built from the user's entries, with monthly and thematic ways to read the story back.

The public 7-day challenge asks people to write 50 words before opening the app they were about to scroll for seven days. It is designed as a lightweight way to try the InkFirst habit before committing to a larger journaling routine.

## Privacy Summary

Journal entries live on the user's iPhone in SwiftData and sync only to the user's private iCloud when iCloud is enabled. AI features may process the writing to create reflections and Life Book chapters, but the app is designed so those systems do not receive the user's name, email address, or device identity. InkFirst does not use third-party tracking SDKs or ad profiles.

InkFirst is in public TestFlight beta. The App Store version is not yet represented as launched on this site.
